Pandemic: WHO Europe fears difficult Corona autumn and winter

In view of the rapidly increasing number of infections, the European office of the World Health Organization (WHO) expects a challenging corona situation in autumn and winter. It is very clear that the situation is similar to that of last summer, said WHO Regional Director Hans Kluge in Copenhagen on Tuesday. Only the situation is now driven by the Omicron sublines BA.2 and BA.5, which are more easily transferrable than the previous ones.
