The PP has signed Luis Garicano for its foundation, Reformismo21. The great object of desire of Alberto Núñez Feijóo ends up taking the step. This is confirmed by PP sources to this newspaper after Carlos Alsina announced it on Onda Cero.
The president of the Popular Party had been trying to incorporate the former Citizens MEP into his ranks for several months. Due to his professional commitments as an economics professor in New York, he has not yet been able to convince him to make the leap into active politics, but he will have it in his orbit, in the new PP think tank. Garicano will occupy the place left by the death of Josep Piqué
This signing comes at the moment in which Feijóo claims the useful vote of Cs, as he did yesterday in Valencia. "It is essential to unite the vote around the PP. If you want change, vote and concentrate the vote on the PP!" He said.
As EL MUNDO published in December, Feijóo wants to add "Cs and former Cs talent", and one name stood out very intensely on his radar: that of the former MEP and already former orange militant.
