Politics Sánchez announces a 50% financed interrail voucher for young people to travel around Europe

Pedro Sánchez has defended his political management in favor of young people in the fields of education, housing and health at an electoral rally in Murcia. "They", he said, "should be our priority" and for this reason he has promised to approve a 50% discount so that young people between the ages of 18 and 30 can take the European inter-rail between June 15 and September 15 and, in addition, it will launch a Spanish inter-rail that will have a 90% discount on trains and buses that are State powers and 50% on high-speed lines. All this will be approved at the next Council of Ministers.

Following this new electoral announcement, the President of the Government has expressed his chest about the imminent agreement between employers and unions to promote an increase in wages. "This is a legislature of social peace", he has stressed and has explained it as a direct consequence of his policy that has recovered the social dialogue that "others threw in the bin when they governed".

This agreement, together with the employment data and the good progress of the economy are "a displeasure for the PP and for Vox", Sánchez has affirmed, who has branded the opposition parties as "agreers". The president has said that job creation in Spain is "unprecedented" and is due to the "rigor and good management" of his government.

In his opinion, PP and Vox "do not give one". He maintains that he has shown that it is possible to raise the SMI and create employment, raise pensions and guarantee their sustainability and that it is possible to agree on the pension reform in agreement with the European Commission and the unions. In contrast, the PP and Vox want to "justify their cuts and privatizations."

Sánchez stressed that his government "defends what the people think." And he has cited the advances in health, education, dependency, pensions as achievements of his Executive. There he has added his commitments in relation to housing, the "fifth pillar of the welfare state."

In this sense, he has announced that on Monday he will meet with the construction sector to start implementing his plan in favor of social housing with public and private collaboration. "The future", he has assured, "always gives reason to progress".
