After the tragic death of a cyclist in Porte-de-Savoie in the delegated French commune of Francin, the Montmelian Gendarmerie has launched a call to witnesses. The victim's corpse was found on the side of the road at the intersection with the Chemin des Iles and the D2.
Two motorists started a heart massage, which was continued until the arrival of firefighters and the Samu. Unfortunately, the cyclist was killed on the spot. The man was aged between 70-80 years. Investigators concluded that the man was hit based on observations of his body and vehicle debris. The driver fled. The gendarmes appeal to anyone with information, or who saw the driver or cyclist within the accident site's perimeter shortly before 2:30 p.m. to call them at 04 7984 21 25 or 17.
