For more than a month it was unclear which Potsdamer won 23.2 million euros in the lottery - now the winner has announced himself. This was announced by the Land Brandenburg Lotto GmbH in Potsdam on Tuesday.
In June, the lucky guy ticked six correct numbers plus the super number and thus hit the jackpot. The day before the draw, the man had spent 16.80 euros in a lottery shop in Potsdam for a lottery ticket with seven picks and two draws. The decisive numbers 18-23-26-37-45-46 found themselves in the seventh betting field and were crowned by the super number 2.
According to the information, the man became aware of the search for a jackpot winner via the media, then checked his game receipt and could not believe his luck. According to the Land Brandenburg Lotto GmbH, the new millionaire reported that he had been in a state of shock for some time.
According to his own statements, he then delayed collecting the winnings in order to first be clear about what this financial security would mean for him. "In fact, I briefly considered whether I should pick up this large sum and really want to change my life," said the winner from Potsdam.
