Raekwon Davis, Dolphins defensive tackle, was injured in his knee in Week 1. He had to miss three games. He was missed by the Dolphins.

Former second-round draft pick is keen to build on the 13 games he played last season.

"I just keep working until I get what I want," Davis told Aaron Wilson of profootballnetwork.com. "I don't let my head drop and I just keep working."

Davis accomplished this offseason. For his hard work, he was awarded a practice jersey.

Davis stated, "It wasn’t anything special." Davis said, "Just effort and running to the ball. I'm just an effort guy. That's it."

Davis had 28 tackles, five quarterback pressures, and half asack in his second season. After making zero as a rookie, he wants to improve his pass rush.

Davis stated, "You just have to keep working." Davis said, "That's the essence of it all."
