Ronja Forcher has been in front of the camera for "Der Bergdoktor" since she was eleven years old. In the meantime, she has even made it to the doctor's assistant in the ZDF series. She was also all in white last weekend – but not in a smock, but in a wedding dress.
"Bergdoktor" actress Ronja Forcher and her fellow actor Felix Briegel got married on Saturday in their common home in Tyrol. The two announced this on their Instagram accounts, along with the accompanying photos as evidence.
The 26-year-old writes about three romantic shots with her groom: "Because you jump into the unknown with me and take a run at it. Because every day feels easy with you. Because you're my home, no matter where we are. Because in your arms the world becomes still and I'm always safe. That's why and a thousand other reasons I love being your wife!"
The actress also shared a few more details about the weekend's secret celebrations. Accordingly, the two said yes to each other “in the smallest circle of the family”. "It was probably the most beautiful and loving day of our lives and we still can't really believe it," said the newlywed wife. Forcher and Briegel, who was born in 1997, had already got engaged in August 2020. At the beginning of 2021, however, Forcher made it clear in an interview with the magazine "Gala" that it would still be a while before the wedding.
"Felix is just completing his acting studies in Hanover, and this year will be very exciting and eventful for both of us. We don't need wedding stress as well," she said, adding: "We want to take it easy. Not a big party, The main thing is that our loved ones are there."
In the "Gala" interview in 2021, Forcher also revealed about her relationship: "When we met because we played in the same play, Felix was just 18. I was 20 years old." Working together eventually turned into love: "At some point I thought to myself: Wow, he's not that bad. So intelligent. So funny. And those eyes! That's when it happened to me at the latest."
Forcher and Briegel then had a long-distance relationship for several years. After the engagement, they moved into a shared apartment in Hanover.
Born in 1996 in Innsbruck, Austria, Forcher has been involved in the ZDF series "Der Bergdoktor" from the very beginning. When the first episode flickered across the screens, she was eleven years old. In this format, Forcher embodies the character of Lilli Gruber, daughter of Dr. Martin Gruber, for whom she now also works as a medical assistant.
