The firefighters of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence were mobilized, Tuesday, June 21, on two traffic accidents. After two vehicles collided, 18 rescuers arrived at the RD 952, Roumoules. A 71-year old man, who was in the first car, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Manosque hospital by ambulance. A woman aged 77 had suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Manosque hospital.

A 65-year old woman was trapped in the vehicle in front. She had to be extricated. She was seriously injured and was evacuated by the Bouches-du-Rhone Civil Security helicopter to Marseille's hospital center.

At 7:30 p.m. the alert was issued in Forcalquier on the main road to the RD 4100. After two vehicles collided, six people were injured.

Five people were aboard the same vehicle: a 42-year-old female was seriously injured and treated by the helicopter of the Civil Security of the Alpes-Maritimes; a man aged 43, who sustained severe injuries to his lower limbs, was evacuated to Manosque by an ambulance; a girl of 14 years with serious injuries and was evacuated to La Timone hospital in Marseille. A 12-year-old girl as well as a 10-year-old were also evacuated to Manosque.

The 18-year old man was in the other vehicle and was slightly injured. He was then taken to Manosque. Thirty firefighters were called in.
