RTL names all twelve names: These celebrities move into the jungle camp

Would have, would have, bicycle chain ... This is how all the speculation about the participants of the next jungle camp can be overwritten. After all, everything is only watertight after official confirmation by RTL. Now the names of the twelve celebrities are finally available.

What do we already know about the jungle camp next year? After a total corona failure in 2020 and a year in South African exile, it is taking place again in Australia. Sonja Zietlow is of course back as a blasphemer. She will receive support for the first time from Jan Köppen, who is following in Daniel Hartwich's footsteps.

We have also known about the start of broadcasting on January 13 at 9.30 p.m. on RTL (also available on RTL) since this week. And the happy news that this time there will even be an extra load of jungle, as the show runs one day longer than in the past.

And otherwise? Otherwise, as every year, we know a lot of speculation about who is supposed to be among the candidates. Some of them may be right, while others are fundamentally wrong. And there is only certainty anyway when RTL makes the official announcement. And that moment is right NOW.

Let's start with the lords of creation and probably the least surprising candidate: Lucas Cordalis. The singer, son of jungle king Costa I. and Daniela Katzenberger's husband, finally wanted to make the camp in South Africa unsafe in 2021. But a corona infection shot him out. But now he will and may finally attack!

Candidate number 2 also has a connection to the Cordalis family from a few corners, since his son Dustin was already a participant in the very first jungle camp season in 2004, which Costa, who has unfortunately passed away, left as the crowned head. Do you already know who it is? Correct: actor Martin Semmelrogge. At the age of 67, he will be the elder president of the camp in 2023. He was actually always good for one or the other small scandal.

The third man to sit around the campfire starting January 13th is Cosimo Citiolo. If it doesn't ring for everyone right away, we'll just say: "The Checker from the Neckar." With this not very modest nickname, Citiolo appeared for the first time in 2005 in "Deutschland sucht den Superstar", where he was to try his luck several times without success. He has also graced reality TV shows such as "Big Brother", "Battle of the Reality Stars" and "The Summer House of the Stars". No question: he is definitely ready for the jungle.

Last but not least, the NDW legend Markus Mörl will also take a seat at the campfire. In the 1980s he had hits like "I want fun" or "Little flashlight burn" and can therefore team up with Cordalis for a hit duet in the jungle. Incidentally, RTL also provided the necessary style. The international male model Papis Loveday will probably make sure that the other men don't let go completely in terms of fashion, despite the rather functional jungle outfits.

Speaking of reality TV - the first of the three female celebrities who are now officially known for "I'm a star – get me out of here!" 2023 are confirmed, definitely also from: Cecilia Asoro. Twice in a row, in 2015 and 2016, she tried to convince Heidi Klum that she was "Germany's next top model" - in vain. Unfortunately, she was not able to score with "Bachelor" Andrej Mangold in 2019 either. But at least she left "Beauty and the Nerd" two years later as a winner. Most recently, she was seen with ex-boyfriend Markus "Koki" Kok on the RTL show "Prominent Separated - The Villa of the Elderly".

As far as relationship issues are concerned, Asoro down under might be able to get a few tips from Claudia Effenberg, whose participation in the jungle camp has now also been officially confirmed. After all, the 57-year-old has already had some turbulent times with her husband Steffen. In the camp, however, she will have to do without the support of the ex-footballer. But Claudia Effenberg is used to grief, for example from her time with "Celebrity Big Brother", where she had to settle for second place in 2014.

Finally, a real hit is the third lady in the league, whom we would like to introduce to you at this point: Verena Kerth. And not because she towed Oliver Kahn in the disco many years ago, but because her current boyfriend is none other than the Jungle King of 2017, Marc Terenzi. He should certainly be pumping his winged jungle wisdom into her head: "The rules are the rules and we have to comply with them!" And who knows: maybe Kerth will bring him the undergrowth crown back home.

So women's power is guaranteed - not only because of the three women mentioned, but also because of the as yet unnamed personalities, including influencer Jolina Mennen, the former "GNTM" model Tessa Bergmeier, actress Jana Pallaske and reality star Gigi Birofio.
