Rugby. Ange Capuozzo will be on his first summer tour to Italy

Already, he has experienced the intoxication of the first Six Nations Tournament, as well as two memorable selections against Italy last March (22-33, with 2 tries), and against Wales at Cardiff (22-21). In June and July 2022, Ange Capuozzo will write the sequel to his adventures with the Azzurri.

One who has been a FC Grenoble player (Pro D2) for four more weeks - before signing a three-season lease with Stade Toulousain Top 14 - was summoned to a team of 33 players to take part in the Summer Tour 2022.

The summer tour will see the New Zealander Kieran Crowley coach the team. They will be playing three matches away from Europe during the match: Saturday, June 25, in Lisbon (time to be confirmed), Friday, July 1, in Romania (in Bucharest at 8 p.m. at Arcul de Triumph), and Sunday, July 10, in Georgia (in Batumi at 6 p.m., Adjarabet Arena).

This match will be the most important because the Italians will be facing the best nation in Tournament B, a Georgian selection that is eyeing the position of Italy in Tournament A. The Georgian selection is seeking international legitimacy. This all just over a year after the 2023 World Cup, France.

Ange Capuozzo, one of four French players, will be part of the Italian squad that will prepare the three matches. It will meet in Pergine Valsugana on Friday June 17. Pietro Ceccarelli is Brive pillar, Montpellier opener Paolo Garbisi is Pau center Marco Zanon.
