Saint-Chamassy invites future professionals to a farm visit

AgroBio Perigord (an association that has been developing organic farming in the Dordogne over the past thirty years) organized a visit at the Coeur de fruits farm owned by Jeremy Corbeau. This is a Saint-Chamassy glacier farmer.

22 future and current professionals who wanted to produce organically attended the afternoon at the farm. They learned, shared and discussed their experiences. Jeremy Corbeau started his project in Bourrou in 2010, on a family plot.

A friend loaned him an ice cream machine in 2014 and that was how he started making sorbets to diversify his diet. Jeremy Corbeau, a 2016 Saint-Chamassy resident, became the farm manager in 2018. The DJA allowed Corbeau to purchase a processing lab to make ice cream and sorbets.

The future organics have thus discovered an organic farm, from production to marketing and processing. After a lifetime of travels, Jeremy Corbeau returned to the land to establish a permanent base and take part in local life.
