Saint-Jean-Saint-Nicolas. Immersion at the Retours du monde festival: 545 students

This festival of adventure and travel will take place Friday, June 3, with three hundred schoolchildren, 230 middle-school students in 6th, 5th, and 15 second-year Poutrain students. They have prepared for this special day, which was specially designed for them. They watched the trailer, then worked on educational sheets. Then they saw the five films that were chosen for them. "Very different films from one another and very rich." We must not forget that they will vote for their favourite film and for the awarding the Graines de voyageurs prize. We prepare them for the vote by allowing them to ask questions, and teaching them criticism," says Berangere Argueyrolles, head of the festival's school board.

The directors will be present to meet the youth and they will take part in a workshop led by Lionel Daudet, the sponsor for this 7th edition.

Workshops will be held with two Ecrins National Park guards, five academic advisers from Devoluy and a Devoluy storyteller.

The high school students will also shoot a short film to tell the story.

"This festival brings together all students from the valley. This is a wonderful project, which was developed in partnership with National Education as well as the Ecrins National Park. It will be filled with activities that correspond to the festival about travel, the discovery and understanding the other," she exclaims.

Festival through Saturday, June 4. Information and reservations: www.retoursdumonde.com
