The Gironde Departmental Loan Library initiated the coordination of public sales by the departments of their libraries for documents that resulted from June's weeding operations. The Sainte-Foy-la-Grande municipal library will host the sale from Thursday 2 through Saturday 11. The library will not be selling weeds, but beautiful, overgrown plants. They may look a little tired sometimes, but they are still very charming. Librarian Karine Kokoszka explains that sometimes you need to give up some good stems in order for the flower bed to grow harmoniously. Libraries cannot store all their treasures. They must prune regularly to bring in the novelties that are so highly acclaimed and eagerly awaited by readers.
There are many books available for sale that will satisfy all tastes: books for children, books to adults, novels, documentaries, magazines, and CDs. All books are priced between 0.50 and 1 euro.
