Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - A 46-year-old was the victim of a crime in Chemnitz on Saturday night. Rescue workers had discovered the woman and a 34-year-old seriously injured in the backyard of an apartment building, the police said. The woman died a little later in a hospital. Based on the situation at the crime scene and the pattern of injuries, investigators assume that the woman died violently. The criminal police and the State Criminal Police Office of Saxony secured evidence and questioned witnesses. Now it is necessary to clarify the still unknown perpetrators, it said.
