Dresden (dpa/sn) - Customs officers in Dresden found a kilogram of marijuana with a street value of around 10,000 euros in the trunk of a car last Sunday. The driver of the car is said to have initially sped away when he saw the officials, as customs announced on Tuesday. On the run, his vehicle went off the road and crashed into a house wall. The 31-year-old is said to have tried to flee on foot, but was stopped by the customs officers. He was arrested after the failed attempt to escape and is now reportedly in custody.
