Saxony: A14 closed between Döbeln and Leisnig

Döbeln (dpa/sn) - A person was seriously injured in a collision between two trucks on Autobahn 14 between Döbeln and Leisnig on Tuesday morning. The vehicles drove into each other head-on, said a police spokeswoman for the German Press Agency. Due to the accident, the freeway was initially closed in both directions. The spokeswoman said it was unclear when the blocking could be lifted. It is also unclear whether there are other injuries. In addition to emergency services on the ground, a rescue helicopter was also deployed.
