Saxony-Anhalt: 1000 straw bales burn in a silo: 200,000 euros in damage

Eichenbarleben (dpa/sa) - 1000 bales of straw burned in a silo on the premises of a farm in Eichenbarleben (Börde district). The silo was badly damaged by the fire on Friday evening, the police said on Saturday. According to the fire department, arson is a very likely cause of the fire. The police have started investigations. The property damage is reported to be around 200,000 euros.
