Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - In the case of the punctured tires on 116 delivery vehicles of the online retailer Amazon in Magdeburg, the police state security has taken over the investigation. It cannot yet be ruled out that a possible state security offense is behind it, said a police spokeswoman on Tuesday. The "Volksstimme" had previously reported about it.
Between Wednesday and Friday of last week, unknown persons punctured the tires of the vehicles in the Rothensee district. According to the information, the perpetrators broke into the premises of the mail order company where the vehicles were parked. The police initially did not provide information on the amount of damage and the background to the crime.
