Bernburg (dpa/sa) - A 14-year-old was found unconscious in the water in an outdoor pool in Bernburg (Salzland district). Despite immediate first aid measures, the boy did not regain consciousness on Thursday, the police said on Friday. He was taken to a hospital in a rescue helicopter. A lifeguard was made aware of the youth, who was then rescued from the pool, which was only one meter deep. It is still unclear why the boy lost consciousness.
