A total of 13 events were on the two-week program at nine locations.
The Sommer-Musik-Akademie Schloss Hundisburg (Börde district) has been held annually in summer since 1993. According to the information provided, the festival primarily wants to promote intercultural encounters between young, talented musicians and provide inspiration.
One of the special features is an orchestra with musicians from all over the world, which is newly formed each time. This year they came from 22 nations and were 24 years old on average. According to the organizers, more than 400 young musicians from 43 countries applied for 54 orchestra seats to take part in the festival.
