Saxony-Anhalt: Accident with 2.23 per thousand on the A14 near Magdeburg

Dolle (dpa/sa) - A drunk driver caused an accident during the night from Wednesday to Thursday on Autobahn 14 in the direction of Dresden near Dolle in the Börde district (Saxony-Anhalt). According to the police, the 40-year-old wanted to avoid an animal and then crashed his car through the lane boundary in the curve of the Tangerhütte driveway. The car overturned and landed on its roof. The driver was not injured and was able to get out of the car on his own. A breath alcohol test by the police showed 2.23 per thousand. The officers took the driver's license and took him to Magdeburg for a blood alcohol test. The 40-year-old is being investigated for dangerous driving under the influence of alcohol.
