"The patients can't breathe and are so weak that they have to be hospitalized," said the head of the central emergency room, Tobias Hofmann, on Friday. "These are mostly older patients whose last vaccination was a long time ago." The Standing Vaccination Commission recommends a new booster vaccination with a corona vaccine for people aged 60 and over. The university hospital pointed out that the refresher is possible at the same time as a flu vaccination.
