Thale (dpa/sa) - Despite the conversion of the Harz mountain theater, there should be open-air theater and concerts in the Bodetal this year. "The city of Thale also has a second natural stage, which is idyllically located in the district of Altenbrak. This year, the Waldbühne Altenbrak will be the theater stronghold in the open-air area of the 2022 Summer Festival in the Harz Mountains," explained Ronny Große, director of the two stages , on Saturday.
The summer festival will open on June 12 with an open day. In June, for example, "News from the Robber Hotzenplotz" and "The Wizard of Oz" are on the schedule. There will also be a concert stage.
The Harz mountain theater above Thale is currently being expanded and technically modernized. The venue, one of the oldest natural theaters in Germany, will have 1,900 seats in the future.
