Saxony-Anhalt: dead 55-year-old: arrest warrants against two men

Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - In connection with the death of a 55-year-old man in Magdeburg, two men are in custody. The 39 and 40-year-old suspects were provisionally arrested on Friday - the man was discovered lifeless that day in the Brückfeld district, the police said on Sunday. An arrest warrant was issued on Saturday, it said. The body of the 55-year-old had been autopsied. Already on Friday it was said that an "unnatural death" could not be ruled out. This was confirmed by the forensic examination. According to a police spokeswoman, manslaughter is assumed. The dead man showed "traces of blunt force," it said.
