Saxony-Anhalt: Dead found in the Mulde reservoir near Schlaitz

Schlaitz (dpa/sa) - A dead man was found in the Mulde reservoir near Schlaitz in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district. A witness discovered the body floating in the water on Friday, the police in Dessau-Roßlau said on Saturday. Firefighters rescued the unknown dead, whose age is estimated at 50 to 60 years. Initially, there were no indications of third-party negligence. Investigations into the man's identity and cause of death are ongoing.
