Sangerhausen (dpa/sa) - A dead horse was found on a pasture in Sangerhausen (Mansfeld-Südharz district). The animal had an open abdominal wound on Monday, the police said. According to the information, a responsible veterinarian is now checking, among other things, whether the injuries were caused by an external force and whether they could possibly have been caused by a wolf. The investigations are ongoing and are being conducted in cooperation with the Wolf Competence Center.
