Sangerhausen (dpa/sa) - The Mansfeld-Südharz district wants to significantly increase the usage fees for using the district's own gyms. From January 2023, the usage fees for the proportionate operating costs rose to five euros per hour and indoor field for adults, said a spokeswoman for the district on Tuesday. Previously, the fee was one euro per hour. The costs are to be paid by the clubs. The fees for children increase from one to two euros per hour and hall field.

The increase has nothing to do with the increased energy prices, said the spokeswoman for the district. The fee adjustments had been planned for a long time.
