Saxony-Anhalt: Driver loses control when overtaking and dies

Bördeland (dpa/sa) - A 19-year-old driver died in a traffic accident in the Salzland district on Thursday. According to the police, the 19-year-old lost control of his vehicle during an overtaking maneuver between Welsleben and Biere and crashed into a tree. Due to the force of the impact, he was trapped in his vehicle and had to be freed by the fire department. The driver died at the scene of the accident a little later. The other driver suffered shock and was hospitalized.
