Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - In a strike against drug crime, the police in Saxony-Anhalt have arrested four people in the meantime. The men, aged 20, 22, 27 and 34, are accused of commercial trafficking in no small amount of illegal drugs, the police said on Saturday. The 27-year-old was imprisoned after a magistrate's decision. The other three were released subject to conditions.
The investigators searched the properties of the four suspects and four other people on Friday evening. The officers found about 20 kilograms of various drugs - including marijuana, cocaine and amphetamines. The drugs were seized. A total of eleven objects in Magdeburg and in the Salzland district were searched. The investigation is ongoing, police said in a statement.
