Oschersleben (dpa/sa) - A drunk man first hit his wife in the face in Oschersleben in the Börde district and then attacked police officers with a knife. The aggressive 52-year-old then let himself be persuaded to drop the knife in a conversation, the police said on Saturday. A breath alcohol test showed a value of 1.54 per thousand, it said. The crime happened just before midnight on Friday evening. An investigation had been initiated against the father of the family, it said. The 46-year-old woman was reportedly injured in the nose.
