Wittenberg (dpa/sa) - A defective chimney in a house in Wittenberg caused the fire brigade to be deployed more extensively. No one was injured, the city said on Friday. The emergency services were able to extinguish the fire with the help of a sweeper up the chimney. Around 35 people were on duty from around 5 a.m. in the morning, including members of volunteer fire brigades. The city said there was no damage to the home.
