Saxony-Anhalt is supporting the purchase of the new vehicles in 2024 and 2025 with a total of around 10.5 million euros. This means that you take on about a third of the total investment sum. "With the major investment in fire engines, the state is clearly committed to fire protection and continues to support the important work of our fire brigades in the state," said Interior Minister Tamara Zieschang (CDU). The state will continue to invest in the equipment of the fire brigades in the future.

In recent years, new emergency vehicles for fire protection have been centrally procured and funded. According to the Ministry of the Interior, there were 19 vehicles in 2021, and 42 will be delivered this year. Next year there should be 44 vehicles.
