Zerbst (dpa/sa) - At a state party conference in Zerbst on Saturday, the Greens want to debate the role of crafts and medium-sized businesses in Saxony-Anhalt. In an application passed by the state board, it is said that the advantages of skilled trades should be given more attention in vocational orientation in schools. This is to be achieved, among other things, through better cooperation with business and chambers of crafts. In this context, the Greens are also demanding that the trainee ticket in Saxony-Anhalt should be free of charge.
Members of the federal government are also expected in Zerbst. Speeches by Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke and State Secretary for Economic Affairs Michael Kellner are planned.
