Saxony-Anhalt: hooded people attack a group and steal valuables

Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - A group of hooded people attacked and robbed four people in Magdeburg. The unknown perpetrators were dressed in black and covered their faces with black cloths, a police spokesman said on Saturday. Some of the masked men were armed with striking tools on Saturday night. The perpetrators also demanded some valuables from the victims. Shortly thereafter, according to the police, the hooded people kicked and punched. The victims suffered serious head, upper body and arm injuries. The perpetrators stole an electric scooter and a smartphone. The police did not provide any information on the sex or age of those involved.
