Halle (dpa/sa) - About 566,000 reports were received in Saxony-Anhalt for the current census of buildings and apartments. This was announced by the State Statistical Office on Thursday. According to this, around 39,000 dunning notices are to be sent to owners of residential property. Those affected have not yet answered the questionnaire on the census of buildings and apartments, according to a spokeswoman for the statistics authority. The notification should then be sent within a period of two weeks.
In the census of buildings and apartments, information such as the type of building and heating system, the year of construction and the number of apartments in the building are requested. "This survey provides important small-scale planning bases for residential construction, but also for the energy transition. It is therefore essential for the quality of the data," said the spokeswoman.
