Haldensleben (dpa/sa) - More than 70 readings at various locations are intended to attract visitors to the city literature days in Haldensleben in the Bördekreis. After the opening on Thursday, everything revolves around the well-formulated word until October 3rd. As has been the case since 2009, the reading festival, which takes place every two years, has the motto "Literature finds the city". The venues include both public places such as the Kulturfabrik as well as private living rooms and shops in the districts of Haldensleben. According to the city administration, there is a program for all age groups.
It starts with Doris Voigt and a "reading under the clothesline" at the House of People's Solidarity. The official opening with Mayor Bernhard Hieber (SPD) is planned for Friday in Uthmöden.
