Saxony-Anhalt: Lüddemann: Greens deal too often with themselves

Zerbst (dpa/sa) - Greens parliamentary group leader Cornelia Lüddemann has called on her party to deal less with itself. She sometimes wants to "shake up" her party a little, she said on Saturday at a state party conference of the Greens in Zerbst (Anhalt-Bitterfeld district). All too often one deals with oneself, acts in one's "own bubble" and does too little to address the problems of the people in this country.

The Greens have the right goals and arguments, said Lüddemann. "But what we need even more, I think, is that we address people on an emotional level." Facts should be conveyed more emotionally and solutions to problems in cycling or climate protection better conveyed.

At the state party conference, an application for handicrafts and medium-sized businesses in Saxony-Anhalt was also passed. Among other things, greater attention should be paid to the advantages of crafts, according to the demand.
