Eisleben (dpa/sa) - A man stabbed a 31-year-old woman on a street in Eisleben (Mansfeld-Südharz district). The woman was seriously injured, police said on Thursday. She was taken to a hospital. The 42-year-old initially fled the scene. Witnesses immediately informed the police. Officers arrested the man a little later.
According to the police, he is said to have been the woman's partner. It therefore points to a relationship act, it said. According to the police, the public prosecutor's office will decide this Friday whether to apply for an arrest warrant against the man.
