Güntersberge (dpa/sa) - A member of a motorbike convoy collided head-on with a car near Güntersberge (Harz district) and was life-threateningly injured. The 80-year-old car driver was heading towards Siptenfelde on Thursday afternoon and missed the oncoming motorbike column when turning left, as the police announced on Friday morning.
While the first driver in the column was still able to dodge, the 32-year-old second motorcyclist crashed head-on into the car. Paramedics took the seriously injured to the hospital. A third motorcyclist was also able to dodge, a fourth fell and was slightly injured.
