Saxony-Anhalt: Muslim pastors for Saxony-Anhalt: Applicants wanted

Dessau-Roßlau (dpa/sa) - A total of 20 Muslim pastors are to be trained in Saxony-Anhalt by the end of 2024. They are then available to every institution in the state, as the state network for migrant organizations in Saxony-Anhalt announced on Monday. Registrations are possible until the end of this year. Requirements are a minimum age of 24 years and good knowledge of German. "All people from the Muslim culture are welcome. It doesn't matter whether you're a Sunni, Shiite, Alewit, Christian or atheist. At AMUSSA, the focus is on people," it said. The training starts in 2023 and consists of theory and a practical part in hospitals.
