Saxony-Anhalt: New plant goes into operation in the Zeitz chemical park

Elsteraue/Zeitz (dpa/sa) - A new plant has gone into operation in the Zeitz chemical and industrial park. Around 50 million euros have been invested to expand the Münzing site, as a spokesman for Münzing Emulsions-Chemie GmbH (Elsteraue/Zeitz/Burgenlandkreis) said on Tuesday. According to the information, the new production facility will produce basic materials that are required in the building materials industry. This includes cleaning work. Up to 100 jobs are associated with the investment, the spokesman said. The new plant is scheduled to run at full capacity from September. Construction work started in 2020.
