Saxony-Anhalt: Olaf Feuerborn remains President of Farmers in Saxony-Anhalt

Stassfurt (dpa/sa) - Olaf Feuerborn remains honorary president of the Farmers' Association of Saxony-Anhalt. He was re-elected on Wednesday at the farmers' day in Stassfurt with 99 percent of the votes for four years, as a spokesman for the association said. "Despite major challenges, we have achieved a lot in recent years. We must continue to fight for our rural areas and the future of our businesses," explained Feuerborn. The farmer, born in Zülpich (North Rhine-Westphalia) in 1961, was elected head of the state farmers' association in 2016. He is now also a member of the state parliament.
