Halle (dpa/sa) - In the trial for an alleged contract killing of a 52-year-old in Halle-Neustadt, the public prosecutor's office has demanded life imprisonment for the three accused. The victim's husband and his lover had prepared the murder together, the prosecutor said on Friday in the regional court in Halle. An acquaintance finally carried out the murder on September 24, 2021 with the support of the two.
According to the public prosecutor's office, the victim had numerous cuts and stab wounds. The accused husband and the accused lover are said to have commissioned the third accused to kill the wife in order to be able to live out their relationship freely.
