Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - More than 200,000 schoolchildren in Saxony-Anhalt received their half-year reports on Friday. Most of them attended public schools, around 21,100 of the students went to a free school at the time the certificates were awarded, as the Ministry of Education announced on Friday in Magdeburg. With a view to problems with the provision of lessons, Education Minister Eva Feußner promised improvement: “The introduction of the additional weekly compulsory lesson cannot be postponed to ensure the provision of lessons. I assume that this measure will show the first improvements in the coming school year.”
