Saxony-Anhalt: rear-end collision of two trucks: two injured

Burg (dpa/sa) - In a rear-end collision with two trucks on the Autobahn 2 towards Berlin near Burg (Jerichower Land district), both drivers were injured, one of them seriously. A 23-year-old truck driver missed the traffic jam in front of him on Thursday and drove into a stationary truck, the police said on Friday morning. The force of the collision pushed both vehicles into the central barrier. The 23-year-old was seriously injured, the driver of the second truck slightly. Both were taken to the hospital. The lane towards Berlin was blocked for more than four hours.
