Saxony-Anhalt: Record number of applicants at Anhalt University

Bernburg (dpa/sa) - The Anhalt University of Applied Sciences has again recorded a record number of applicants. A spokeswoman for the university said on Friday that more than 4,000 applications had been received for the 2022/23 winter semester for the three locations in Bernburg, Dessau-Roßlau and Köthen. This is a record value. Compared to the previous year, this corresponds to an increase of seven percent. The university had already reported a new record number of applicants in the summer semester. The winter semester starts on October 4th. According to the university, around 7,500 students are currently studying at the three locations.
