Saxony-Anhalt: Residential building burns in Roitzsch

Sandersdorf-Brehna/Köthen (dpa/sa) - Two people were seriously injured in a fire in a residential building in Sandersdorf-Brehna (Anhalt-Bitterfeld). An 82-year-old resident was taken to a hospital by helicopter and a 57-year-old by ambulance, according to the police in Köthen. The fire in the Roitzsch district broke out on Wednesday morning for reasons that were previously unclear. It burned, therefore, in the attic, in a room and in the hallway in the upper part of the three-storey terraced house. There was damage of at least 10,000 euros.
