Hohenmölsen (dpa/sa) - After a serious traffic accident in Hohenmölsen (Burgenlandkreis), a 92-year-old woman died and a 77-year-old man was seriously injured in a hospital. According to the police, an 85-year-old woman parked her car the previous Thursday and reversed "several meters at high speed". Two pedestrians collided on the sidewalk. The car had only come to a standstill with the rear against a house wall. Four people rendered first aid at the scene of the accident. However, the 92-year-old died on the way to the hospital.
The woman who caused the accident and the first responders were in shock and received medical care.
