Saxony-Anhalt: Three-year-old dies after an accident with a quad

Zerbst (dpa/sa) - A three-year-old died after an accident with a quad. The police announced on Wednesday. A 71-year-old was driving the vehicle with the child on Sunday on a dirt road near Zerbst in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district. The quad crashed into a ditch for reasons that were initially unclear. The man and child were seriously injured and taken to a hospital. The boy succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Out of consideration for personal rights and the family, the police did not provide any information about the relationship between the child and the 71-year-old.
