Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - Unknown people sprayed paint on Magdeburg Cathedral. About 30 graffiti were discovered Monday morning on the cathedral walls, roof and scaffolding, the police said. There were smaller graffiti among them, but also those two by three meters in size. The investigators assume that the perpetrator or perpetrators climbed up the scaffolding and were thus able to damage property at a greater height. The police were initially unable to say how much damage was caused because it is a historic building. An investigation is ongoing. The police are looking for witnesses.
